Qualified Mental Health professionals (QMHP):

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a mental health-related field i.e. (psychology, social work, nursing, counseling, sociology, special education, human growth and development, early childhood education) etc.

Proficient with computers
-
Must have a computer and internet connection
Job Duties:
​
-
Provide Community Support Work To Recipients (Adults And Children)
-
Assess, Review, And Monitor A Recipient’s Status In Relation To Rehabilitation
-
Timely Submit Accurate, Legible, And Complete Weekly Counseling Progress Notes
-
Attend All Weekly Team Meetings, Scheduled Trainings, Etc.
-
Function Well In A Crisis And Promptly Returns Calls
-
Work Effectively On A Team
-
Understand, Acknowledge And Agree To Adhere Medicaid Regulations
Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA):

Qualifications:
​
An individual who possesses any of the following licenses is considered a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts
(LPHA) and is automatically certified as a QMHP-CS:

Physician
-
Physician Assistant
-
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
-
Psychologist
-
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
-
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
-
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
LPHA must hold a current certification in the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths Assessment (CANS) and/or the Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA)
Job Duties:
-
Complete Initial Recipient Assessment
-
Act As Team Leader Of The Service Planning Team
-
Assess, review, and monitor a recipient’s status in relation to rehabilitation
-
Provide Crisis Intervention Services
-
Lead Qualified Mental Health professionals (QMHP) That Are Assigned Under Their Leadership
-
Submit Legible Progress Notes After Seeing A Recipient With Proper Documentation
-
Promptly Returns Calls
-
Understand, Acknowledge And Agree To Adhere To Medicaid Rules And Regulations
